Well the struggles versus the American League continue for Cincinnati, losing 2 of 3 to Baltimore (35-40).
The series was a microcosm of the Reds season, they get behind, they stay close but are unable to get the big hit or the big out to spur them on to victory. Reds beat writer for the Cincinnati Enquirer, John Fay, sums up the weekend best.

As I've mentioned in this space before, the outcome of the four series in front of the Reds before the All-Star break --Tampa, Cleveland, St. Louis and Milwaukee -- will either give fans something to get excited about or signal that it's just not Cincinnati's year.
On a positive note, still one more week of Wimbledon left and most of the top seeds on both the men's and women's side are still alive. Tennis anyone?
